The character of Rapunzel's Prince, played by Tony Award nominee Billy Magnussen, has been changed to Flynn Rider, the love interest of Rapunzel in Disney's 2010 CGI film "Tangled." Cinderella's Prince, played by Chris Pine, has been renamed Prince Charming.
Additionally, Cinderella's Stepmother, played by Christine Baranski, has been renamed Lady Tremaine, the main antagonist of Disney's 1950 film "Cinderella."
In the film adaptation, there will not be a Mysterious Man. Simon Russell Beale will play The Baker's Father, eliminating any element of surprise that the Mysterious Man and the Baker were related.

Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.
Hmm. Well we knew about the Mysterious Man cut, but the rest of this doesn't offend me much. It's the price we have to pay to have this film. Only the Tangled name really seems out of place.
