Les Miserables closing?

The TKTS app claims Les Miserables is set to close on January 4th, 2015. Does anyone know if this is true? I know many shows haven't released tickets past January, but none are listed as "closing" on the TKTS app.

I haven't seen any official announcement, but I was just wondering if anyone on here heard anything...

There have been no official announcements that Les Miserables is closing on January 4th. That is how far the current crop of tickets goes. But, I wouldn't take the TKTS app as official news.

I doubt it.... Its still selling quite close to capacity isn't it??

Wouldn't jump to conclusions. Haven't heard anything official, only speculation.

They just have not released tickets past Jan 4th yet. Wait until after the holidays.

Was there last Wednesday for the matinee, no empty seats.

I doubt that this production will be closing any time soon. It still does very well with its gross potential and capacity and besides the TKTS sometimes shows misguided information. For example if you look at the show search, MANY shows are mismatched with how frequently they're at the booth. Here are the corrections: A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder (is listed as occasionally, should be frequently), Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (listed as frequently, should be rarely), Hedwig and the Angry Inch (still listed as never, but should now be frequently), If/Then (listed as rarely, but should be frequently), This is Our Youth (listed as occasionally but should proabably be frequently), and finally You Can't Take It With You which says occasionally but will proabably be frequently. Sorry for the long post.

Yeah, I think it's just bad phrasing on the part of TKTS. The other shows, though, say "Open Run."
