Last night, T.R. Knight, Emmy Award nominated actor, and two-time Tony Award winner Nathan Lane joined and rejoined the cast of It's Only A Play, currently playing at Broadway's Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre. Both will continue with the production through its scheduled closing date of June 7, 2015. BroadwayWorld was there for the big night and you can check out photos from the curtain call below!

T.R. Knight was recently seen on Broadway opposite Sir Patrick Stewart in A Life in the Theatre. He is perhaps best known for his role as George O'Malley for four seasons on the hit ABC drama "Grey's Anatomy," for which he received an Emmy Award nomination for 'Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series' and won the Screen Actors Guild Award for 'Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series' as a member of the cast. Additionally, Knight starred as Leo Frank in the musical Parade at CTG/Mark Taper Forum, directed and choreographed by Rob Ashford; the film 42, a Jackie Robinson bio-pic, starring Harrison Ford and directed by Brian Helgeland; and the television comedy "Charlie Lawrence" for CBS opposite Nathan Lane and Laurie Metcalf, as the office gopher Ryan Lemming. Knight was born and raised in Minneapolis.

Lane most recently appeared on stage as Hickey in Robert Falls' production of The Iceman Cometh at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, which received rave reviews. Previously, he was seen on Broadway in It's Only a Play at the Schoenfeld Theatre alongside Matthew Broderick, Megan Mullally, Stockard Channing and F. Murray Abraham. He also appeared on Broadway inThe Nance, for which he received Tony and Drama Desk Award nominations and won the Outer Critics Circle Award and the Drama League Distinguished Performance Award. He made his Broadway debut opposite George C. Scott in Present Laughter (Drama Desk nomination), followed by Merlin, The Wind in the Willows, Some Americans Abroad, On BorrowedTime, Guys and Dolls (Tony nomination, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle awards), Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Love! Valour! Compassion! (Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle awards), A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle awards), The Man Who Came to Dinner, The Producers (Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle awards, Olivier Award), The Frogs, The Odd Couple, Butley, November, Waiting for Godot (Outer Critics Circle nomination), The Addams Family (Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle nominations).

In It's Only A Play, it's opening night of Peter Austin's (Broderick) new play as he anxiously awaits to see if his show is a hit. With his career on the line, he shares his big First Night with his best friend, a television star (Lane), his fledgling producer (Finneran), his erratic leading lady (Channing), his wunderkind director (Knight), an infamous drama critic (Abraham), and a fresh-off-the-bus coat check attendant (Stock) on his first night in Manhattan. It's alternately raucous, ridiculous and tender - and proves that sometimes the biggest laughs happen offstage.
