Photo Flash: Ryan Steele Takes Us Backstage at BROADWAY BACKWARDS!

Broadway's Ryan Steele took over the BCEFA Instagram account yesterday to give fans a backstage look at the tenth annual Broadway Backwards.
Produced by Broadway Cares, Broadway Backwards features Broadway's best performing songs originally written for the opposite gender. Broadway Cares calls it "an annual celebration where gays and lesbians see their stories told through the great songs of musical theatre." Broadway Backwards benefits BC/EFA and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center of New York City, and last year's edition raised a record-breaking $423,182 for the two organizations.
This year's sold-out show at the Al Hirschfeld theatre featured dozens of popular performers, including Tony Award winners Len Cariou, Lena Hall, Brian Stokes Mitchell and Lillias White, Tony nominees Charles Busch, Mario Cantone, Robin de Jesús, Norm Lewis, Lee Roy Reams and Douglas Sills, and Broadway favorites Jim Brochu, Tituss Burgess, Jenn Colella, Harvey Evans, Shawna M. Hamic, Ann Harada, Florence Henderson, Aaron Lazar, Telly Leung, Maureen McGovern, Brian Charles Rooney, Jason Michael Snow, Elizabeth Stanley, Micah Stock, Well-Strung and Tony Yazbeck. Tony, Emmy and Grammy Award winner Lily Tomlin made a special guest appearance, and Honeymoon in Vegas star Rob McClure shared hosting duties with Julie Halston from the recent hit revival of You Can't Take It With You.
