The American premiere of Constellations, the acclaimed new play by Nick Payne, directed by Michael Longhurst (If There Is...), starring Oscar nominee Jake Gyllenhaal (Golden Globe nominee for Nightcrawler; Brokeback Mountain) and two-time Olivier Award winner Ruth Wilson (Golden Globe winner for Showtime's "The Affair"; BBC's and PBS's Emmy nominated "Luther"), opened on Broadway last month at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. Below, BroadwayWorld brings you photos of Wilson in the BroadwayWorld.com series 'In The Spotlight' by acclaimed photographer Walter McBride!

Golden Globe, two-time Olivier Award winner and BAFTA-nominated actress Ruth Wilson can currently be seen in Showtime's original series, "The Affair," opposite Dominic West. Film credits include Suite Française, Locke, Saving Mr. Banks, The Lone Ranger and Anna Karenina. Wilson received Olivier Awards for Best Actress in Anna Christie opposite Jude Law and Best Supporting Actress for A Streetcar Named Desire opposite Rachel Weisz, both at the Donmar. On television, Wilson starred in the acclaimed BBC series "Luther," which was nominated for eight Emmy Awards. She received BAFTA and Golden Globe nominations for Best Lead Actress in the BBC miniseries "Jane Eyre." Wilson debuted on the London stage in 2007 in the National Theatre presentation of Maxim Gorky's Philistines and starred in the Almeida Theatre adaptation of Ingmar Bergman's film, Through a Glass Darkly. Wilson made her directorial debut and starred in Eugene O'Neill's play, The El. Train, last December.
