This past weekend, Germany's long running Time Warp festival, along with local partner Teksupport, invaded Brooklyn with a spectacular two-night festival bringing together some of the world's most renown techno artists and local underground talent. Scroll down for photos!

On the heels of their 20-year anniversary celebration, Time Warp presented their inaugural US event to over 9,500 fans from 34 countries at the 39th Street Pier along the Brooklyn waterfront. Time Warp imported their signature production, The Cave, a stunning full-floor design concept modeled after an arctic ice cave, unifying the stage and dancefloor, and allowing the sonic textures of underground techno to come alive and completely immerse the audience.

Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams made a special appearance during The Martinez Brothers set and shared welcome remarks on the microphone, "This is great for Brooklyn. I support this and I want this to happen in Brooklyn." Other Brooklyn representatives include underground dance music purveyors BlkMarket Membership's Taimur & Fahad and Resolute's Connie, Lauren Ritter, and Orazio Rispo.

"We are very happy with the first edition of Time Warp US and want to thank the entire team, the fans for their warm welcome and enthusiasm, as well as the artists. We feel honored that Brooklyn's Borough President visited TW and celebrated the festival in Brooklyn." - Robin Ebinger (Time Warp Festival / Cosmopop, Founder & Head of Marketing)

Other highlights of the weekend include - spectacular performances by Time Warp ambassadors Sven Väth, Richie Hawtin, Dixon, Pan-Pot, and tiNI; U.S. techno flag-bearers Josh Wink, The Martinez Brothers, Frank & Tony, and Anthony Parasole; No Regular Play's live performance with trumpet, vocals and keyboard; Italian techno don Joseph Capriati building the momentum for the first night; DJ Tennis ending his set with New Order classic "Blue Monday"; the Time Warp debut of Pioneer's new PLX-1000 turntables; and memorable weekend closing sets by Luciano, Sonja Moonear, Richie Hawtin and Dixon.

Most notably, the North American premiere of the highly acclaimed dubfire:liveHYBRID show fused 2D and 3D animation with live audio and lighting to great effect. On the success of the epic live show, Dubfire says, "Time Warp was even more special as I had an opportunity to perform my HYBRID show to the legions who have supported me and my music for the past 7 years."

Time Warp concluded its successful '20 Years Tour' in The Netherlands with six stages and 34 artists on December 6. Time Warp Germany 2015 is announced for April 5, 2015 in Mannheim, Germany. Advance tickets are available now at www.time-warp.de/germany.
