From writer/director Paul Thomas Anderson, INHERENT VICE is based on the Thomas Pynchon novel of the same name, set for a December 12 release.

INHERENT VICE is set in Los Angeles in 1970, in which drug-fueled detective Larry "Doc" Sportello investigates the disappearance of a former girlfriend.
