VIOLET, which opens April 20, tells the story of a young woman's search for beauty during the 1960s. Facially disfigured in a childhood accident, Violet (Sutton Foster) becomes convinced that a televangelist in Oklahoma can heal her, so she gets on a bus - but her travel companions teach her more about real beauty than she expects. The company held a sneak peek concert March 7 - take a look at photos here!

Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan walked the red carpet on opening night of his new play ALL THE WAY on March 6. ALL THE WAY, starring Bryan Cranston, takes audiences behind the doors of the Oval Office and inside the first year of Lyndon B. Johnson's presidency and his fight to pass a landmark civil rights bill. Schenkkan was joined on the red carpet by the likes of Jason Robert Brown, Nancy Pelosi, Dan Rather, and Christine Baranski. Imagination Stage has collaborated with Natasha Holmes, director and cofounder of Tell Tale Hearts Children's Touring Theatre Company (U.K.), on the world premiere of Inside Out. It's bedtime in Inside Out, but instead of getting ready for bed, two children use their imaginations to turn their room into a wonderland of mess. While playing dress-up, a glove becomes a dancing fish, a shirt becomes a fantastical creature, and a sock dance rocks the closet. Inside Out runs through April 6. Check out exclusive photos here!

The Cripple of Inishmaan, written by Martin McDonagh and starring Daniel Radcliffe and a critically acclaimed West End cast, is set to open on Broadway April 20. The Cripple of Inishmaan comes to Broadway following its sold out run last summer on the West End. Set on the remote island of Inishmaan off the west coast of Ireland, word arrives that a Hollywood film is being made on the neighboring island of Inishmore. The one person who wants to be in the film more than anybody is young Cripple Billy (Radcliffe), if only to break away from the bitter tedium of his daily life. BroadwayWorld brings you a taste of the production here, with production shots and videos of the Radcliffe and company in action!

The League of Professional Theatre Women (LPTW) recognized the talents of six outstanding women: Zoe Caldwell, Judith Dolan, Joanna Sherman, Sondra Gorney, Meiyin Wang and Katherine Kovner. LPTW is a not-for-profit organization committed to promoting visibility and increasing opportunities for women in the professional theatre. BroadwayWorld was there for the special night and you can check out photos from the celebration here!

Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill, a new musical telling Billie Holiday's life story starring Audra McDonald, is in need of a canine star - and McDonald was at the callbacks to help the team decide which dog would get the job. Broadway animal trainer Bill Berloni joined McDonald and the two saw over a dozen four-legged auditionees at Circle in the Square Theatre. Check out photos of Audra and the dogs here!

The cast of 22 is lead by Michael Pennington, two-time Olivier Award nominee and one of England's greatest classical actors. BroadwayWorld brings you a look at the cast in rehearsal here!
