Theatre Southwest presents "The Columnist" by David Auburn directed by Malinda L. Beckham. For decades, Joseph Alsop was the most powerful journalist in the country. He was beloved, feared by the Washington political world. But as the '60s approached and American culture entered a time of dizzying change, the intense political drama Joe was embroiled in became deeply personal as well. A fascinating new play from the Tony award winning author of Proof.

The production runs February 21 - March 15, Fridays and Saturdays, 8 pm (Matinee, Sunday March 2 at 3 pm). Tickets are $17, Students & Seniors $15. Reservations: theatresouthwest.org or email tickets@theatresouthwest.org or call (713) 661 9505. (Theatre Southwest is located at 8944-A Clarkcrest, Houston 77063).
