MSG Entertainment (MSGE) hosted the kick-off to its brand new, live theatrical production, Heart and Lights, with a sneak peek of the dynamic Rockettes number, "Electricity" in Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central Terminal on Wednesday, February 5 at 11:30 a.m. Scroll down for photos from the preview!

During the kickoff event, hosted by John Foxx of WPLJ, the Rockettes showcased their precision technique in a high energy performance that captures both the vibrancy and pulse of New York City. The number combines the influences of both Bob Fosse and Broadway and highlights the power of precision dance, a performance style distinctly unique to the Rockettes. The Rockettes one-of-a-kind costuming jumps off the stage in "Electricity" as 152 LED lights illuminate each suit style jacket. The LED jackets work in tandem with the Rockettes movements making it cutting-edge both in terms of choreography and technology. Heart and Lights celebrates New York City as seen through the eyes of two cousins who discover their grandmother's surprising past by uncovering the secrets in the city she loved. The limited five week engagement begins previews March 27, 2014 and runs April 3 through May 4, 2014.

Grand Central Terminal served as the backdrop to the Rockettes live performance and is also featured in the opening scene in Heart and Lights, where the cousins begin their propelling adventure through the Big Apple. After starting their journey on an underground 3D subway ride, New York City comes to life in unexpected ways, from the Meatpacking District to the steps of The New York Public Library, which feature life-like talking lions using breathtaking puppetry. The show visits the lush fields of Central Park, where digital mapping is coupled with inventive GPS technology to create a kite flying spectacle over the audience, and heads to the Statue of Liberty, which is brought to life as a 26-foot-tall state-of-the-art animatronic figure. Radio City transforms New York's most iconic landmarks right before your very eyes.

Heart and Lights stars the Rockettes in a way that audiences have never seen them before with dynamically different and innovative choreography in a theatrical celebration of New York. This 90-minute show, written by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winner Doug Wright, features eight production numbers with new Rockettes choreography, dazzling costumes and state-of-the-art technology including 3D effects, elaborate animatronics, puppetry and GPS elements. The choreography modernizes the dance company, paving the way for groundbreaking styles that showcase their athleticism and artistic range. Heart and Lights celebrates what it takes to make it in New York City and what people love about it most: the action, the buzzing energy and the opportunity
to live out your dreams. Whether one aims for the biggest stage or the brightest lights, it honors the drive and determination, the pulse and passion, the Heart and Lights!
