The new stage musical KING KONG - one of the greatest love stories ever told - features an all-Australian lead cast and a line-up of International Artists contributing to the score. It is currently playing at the Regent Theatre.

The principal cast features Esther Hannaford (Hairspray) as Ann Darrow, newcomer Adam Lyon as Carl Denham, Chris Ryan (Thyestes) as Jack Driscoll, veteran stage actor Richard Piper as Captain Engelhorn and the queen of musical theatre and cabaret, Queenie van de Zandt as Cassandra.

Cast member Josh Robson has organised a charity concert for the cast of King Kong. They are performing at Ormond Hall, located inside Village Melbourne at 557 St Kilda Road on January 19th 2014 at 8pm. Tickets available at www.villagemelbourne.com.au/whatson

The cast will sing and dance to music theatre and pop songs accompanied by a live band. 2 hours of entertainment and hosted by Jan Van De Stool (Queenie Van De Zandt's alter ego)

All profits from this evening will be going towards Mission Australia. They are an organisation that works with providing skills and services to the homeless that enable them to remain self-sufficient once Mission Australia provides them with the services they require.
