Now in its tenth year, the The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) is the largest musical theatre event in America. Second Stage Theatre is presenting the new musical comedy, NOBODY LOVES YOU, featuring Heath Calvert (world premiere of Nobody Loves You at the Old Globe Theatre), Bryan Fenkart (Memphis), Roe Hartrampf (Second Stage Theatre Uptown's The Bad Guys), Autumn Hurlbert(Legally Blonde), Leslie Kritzer (Legally Blonde, A Catered Affair), Lauren Molina (Sweeney Todd, Rock of Ages), Rory O'Malley (Tony nominee for The Book of Mormon) and Aleque Reid (Really Really). Broadway's Forever Tango has announced that "Dancing with the Stars" duo Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovskiy will extend their run for an additional two weeks. Originally scheduled to appear for three weeks only, the couple will now perform in the internationally acclaimed entertainment phenomenon through Sunday, August 11, 2013. Special guest vocalist and five-time Grammy Award-winner, Gilberto Santa Rosa, will appear through July 28, 2013 as previously announced. Click here for more photos of the cast in action!

Barrett Foa, of TV's NCIS: Los Angeles and Broadway's Avenue Q, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Mamma Mia! and Godspell, stars as 'Harold Hill' in Connecticut Repertory Theatre's production of THE MUSIC MAN, running through July 21, 2013, with opening night set for July 12. Marc Blitzstein's The Cradle Will Rock, the inaugural show of New York City Center's new Encores! Off-Center series will play for five performances through July 13 at City Center. The production stars Danny Burstein, Eisa Davis, Raúl Esparza, Peter Friedman, Aidan Gemme, Judy Kuhn, David Margulies, Martin Moran, Michael Park, Robert Petkoff, Da'Vine Joy Randolph, Anika Noni Rose, Matthew Saldívar and Henry Stram. PIPPIN's Matthew James Thomas, Patina Miller, Andrea Martin and more with composer Stephen Schwartz appeared at a special Live at Barnes & Noble event including a three-song performance and CD signing of the New Broadway Cast Recording of Pippin on July 9, 2013. Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for drama, Next to Normal hits the Weston Playhouse's MainStage on July 11 with an all-star cast for what is sure to be a heart-wrenching, spine-tingling theatre experience. Written almost entirely in song, Next to Normal earned the 2009 Tony Award for Best Musical Score. BroadwayWorld has a first look at rehearsal photos here!

Yesterday, 106.7 Lite FM presented the return of its much-anticipated, annual lunchtime theatre summer series, '106.7 Lite FM's Broadway in Bryant Park.' Featured in yesterday's event were the casts of STOMP, NATASHA, PIERRE AND THE GREAT COMET OF 1812, iLuminate: Artist of Light, Pippin and Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella.
