Betty Buckley, currently appearing in London's DEAR WORLD, reunited with some special guests recently: her CARRIE co-star Linzi Hateley and lyricist Dean Pitchford. The actress shared the reunion on Instagram, writing: "Dean Pitchford, Linzi Hateley & me last night at dinner after 'Dear World.'"

CARRIE had its first four-week run beginning on February 13, 1988 in Stratford-upon-Avon, England. The original Broadway production officially opened on May 12, 1988. Hampered by scathing reviews, and despite the fact that the theatre was sold out every night, the financial backers pulled their money out of the show, and it closed on May 15, 1988 after only 16 previews and 5 performances.

The British premiere of Jerry Herman's musical DEAR WORLD, starring Buckley and Paul Nicholas and directed and choreographed by Gillian Lynne, runs through 30 March 2013. For tickets or more information, click here.
