Actors Cara Seymour, Joe Sikora, and James Russell recently posed outside The Irish Repertory Theatre where they are set to costar in Brian Friel's THE FREEDOM OF THE CITY, as part of the Off-Broadway company's 25th Anniversary Season. Check out phtoos of the cast below!

Set in Derry, Northern Ireland during the aftermath of a civil rights meeting, Friel's THE FREEDOM OF THE CITY revolves around an inquiry into the shooting by British soldiers of three marchers (portrayed by Seymour, Sikora, and Russell) as they emerged from the Guildhall. As the inquiry continues, with testimony from 'expert' witnesses, the play relives the real events that led to its institution.

Directed by Ciaran O'Reilly, THE FREEDOM OF THE CITY begins previews October 3 at The Irish Repertory Theatre (132 West 22nd Street, between 6th and 7th Avenues): Wednesdays 3pm and 8pm; Thursdays at 7pm; Fridays at 8pm; Saturdays at 3pm and 8pm; and Sundays at 3pm.
Performances run through November 25, with the following exceptions: added performance Tuesday, November 20 at 8pm; no performance Thursday, November 22. Opening Night is Sunday, October 14 at 7pm. Tickets are $55 and $65, and are available by calling 212-727-2737 or online at www.irishrep.org.
