It's the tale that taught us "there's no place like home!" Join Dorothy, Toto and their friends as they follow the Yellow Brick Road to see The Wizard of Oz at Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre, now through July 15. See photos from the production below!

Based on the series of books written by L. Frank Baum, and made famous by the 1939 MGM film starring Judy Garland as Dorothy, The Wizard of Oz has been entertaining families for generations. The story centers on young farm girl Dorothy Gale of Kansas, who dreams what life must be like "Somewhere Over The Rainbow," and finds out when a tornado whisks her away to a land of munchkins, witches and wizards.

Featuring Central Indiana children as the Munchkins, Beef & Boards' musical production spotlights Lisa Bark as Dorothy. Bark is known to local audiences as Signe/Beverly Engelson, the daughter in the Church Basement Ladies series. Also returning to the stage is local celebrity Trisha Shepherd in the role of Glinda, Eddie Curry as the Wizard, and other Beef & Boards favorites Doug King, Jeff Stockberger and Jayson Elliott as the Scarecrow, Tin Man and Cowardly Lion, respectively.

The show is directed by Eddie Curry, with choreographer Ron Morgan, set Design Michael Layton, musical director Kristy Templet, costumes by Jill Kelly, and lighting design Ryan Koharchik

The production stars Lisa Bark as Dorothy Gale, Trisha Shepherd as Glinda, Darrin Murrell as Uncle Henry, Jayson Elliott as Cowardly Lion, Doug King as Scarecrow, Jeff Stockberger as Tin Man, Eddie Curry as Wizard of Oz, Lynne Perkins as Wicked Witch, Sam McKanney as Mayor/Ozian, Deb Wims as Aunt Em, Alexandria Van Paris as Tree/Ozian, Ashley Saunders as Tree/Ozian, Kenny Shepard as Crow/Ozian, Joseph Perkins Jr. as Crow/Ozian, Danny Kingston as Crow/Ozian, Josh Stark as Winkie General, with Allyson Hankins, Eric Best, Anthony Boler, Kendall Shea Greene, Sydney Greene, Sydney Grace Johnson, Reagan Minnette, Madison Moll, Emma Rose Socey and Alexa Sublett as Munchkins.
