Photo Flash: Inside the Freddie G Teacher Experience

The Freddie G. Teacher Experience (named for Music Theatre International's CEO and Chairman Freddie Gershon who, with his wife Myrna, underwrote the awards and weekend) was a weekend devoted exclusively to professional development for theatrical educators held on July 15th- 17th 2011 in New York City.
The Freddie G. Teacher Experience included Master Classes with some of Broadway's leaders including Warren Carlyle, Douglas Carter Beane, Kimberly Grigsby, Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. The weekend was filled with a special reception featuring Ms. Bernadette Peters, teacher workshops, backstage tours, world-class Broadway entertainment and the chance for educators to share their stories and experiences in the heart of the big apple.
