Due to great responses from both critics and audiences, Performance Network Theatre will extend its production of "The War Since Eve," by Michigan playwright, Kim Carney. This World Premiere comedy will now run through February 20, at which point it must close in order for the theatre to prepare for it's March production of "The Piano Lesson."

On the eve of receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom, women's rights pioneer and bawdy, outspoken feminist Roxie Firestone has a dilemma. As the mother of two grown daughters - Milty, her put-upon assistant and Tara, from whom she has been estranged for twenty years - she wouldn't win any Mother of the Year awards. When Tara returns and Milty threatens to jump ship, she must decide which is more important, sisterhood or motherhood?

Critics have called this comedy "sharply funny," "whip-smart" and "wise," while the cast has been heralded as "magnificent."

Director David Wolber said "I'm always especially happy when audiences respond so positively to a World Premiere production. And it's not just women. We've been hearing from men who've only attended because they've been dragged by their spouses, but in the end, they've enjoyed it just as much because its a hilarious comedy that manages to hit a universal funnybone."

Weekly performances are Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 2pm, with a 3pm matinee on Saturday February 12th. There will NOT be a performance on Thursday, February 17. This show is recommended for those ages 17 and older, due to language.

Tickets can be ordered at the Performance Network Box Office at 734-663-0681, online at
