Photo Coverage: DARK SHADOWS Celebrates 50th Anniversary

The DS Festival's DS Golden Anniversary event took place in Tarrytown, New York, over the weekend of Friday, June 24 to Sunday, June 26, 2016.

The original DS daytime ABC-TV series debuted on June, 27, 1966 and today celebrates the 50th Anniversary.

One of the many highlights of the weekend in Tarrytown was the panel discussion with members of the original cast-David Selby, Kathryn Leigh Scott, Lara Parker, John Karlen, Jerry Lacy, Roger Davis, Marie Wallace, Christopher Pennock, James Storm, Donna Wandrey and Sharon Smyth.

The cast took kicked off the panel with a champagne toast for the anniversary and a thank you to all the fans that have been fans since the beginning and all the new fans that have come upon the show in the many years of syndication.

They then told many stories of the live taping of the show, the many pitfalls of not being able to constantly redo any errors, and then took questions from a very appreciative audience.
