On May 4, the 2016 Tony nominees flocked to the Paramount Hotel, where they met with the press for the first time since getting the big news. Rockwell's Broadway credits include: On the Twentieth Century (Tony nomination), On Your Feet, Sylvia, You Can't Take It With You (Tony nomination), Kinky Boots (Tony nomination), Lucky Guy (Tony nomination),Hairspray (Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle nominations), and upcoming productions of Falsettos and Gotta Dance. TV: 81st and 82nd Academy Awards (2010 Emmy Award). He is the founder of Rockwell Group, an architecture and design studio. Honors include the AIA New York President's Award, Cooper-Hewitt National Design Award, and Presidential Design Award.
The American Theatre Wing's 70th Annual Tony Awards, hosted by Tony Award winner James Corden, will air on the CBS Television Network on Sunday, June 12, 2016 (8:00-11:00 PM, ET/delayed PT) live from the Beacon Theatre in New York City.
