Chicago is hosting the Midwest premiere of Alan Lester Brooks' gripping post-World War II drama A SPLINTERED SOUL, directed by Keira Fromm and presented by ARLA Productions. A SPLINTERED SOUL plays now through May 29, 2016 at Stage 773, 1225 W. Belmont Ave. in Chicago. The press opening was last Saturday, April 23. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

A SPLINTERED SOUL features Curtis Edward Jackson, Dev Kennedy*, Jessica Kingsdale, Nik Kourtis, Johanna McKenzie Miller*, Matt Mueller*, Craig Spidle* and Eliza Stoughton.

Set in San Francisco in 1947, a group of Jewish Holocaust survivors arrive from Poland, aided by the American Jewish community. But he discovers determining right from wrong is more complicated in the new world.

The production team for A SPLINTERED SOUL includes: Brian Sidney Bembridge (scenic and lighting design), Mieka van der Ploeg (costume design), Christopher Kriz (sound design), Ari Clouse* (stage manager), Sarah Illiatovitch-Goldman (dramaturg), Aaron Shapiro (production manager), Christopher Pazdernik (company manager), Dana Black (asst. company manager) and Alex Weisman (casting director/assistant director).
