The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present "Show Biz After Hours With Frank DiLella," a new talk/variety show hosted by the popular NY1 theater journalist. The first "episode" took place on Monday, October 26, and Frank's guests included Laura Osnes and Corey Cott (the stars of THE BANDSTAND at Paper Mill Playhouse), original JERSEY BOY Daniel Reichard, Ali Stroker (one of the stars of SPRING AWAKENING) and the Tony nominated star of LEGALLY BLONDE, Orfeh. After a recorded introduction by Carol Channing, Frank DiLella hosted an evening of conversation, impromptu musical performances and a few wacky games like "Talent Trivia" and "Frank & Randy's Casting Couch." Laura Osnes and Corey Cott were shocked to be 'cast' in the musical version of GONE GIRL, and got slightly hysterical during the cold reading of the script. Musical director Randy Redd accompanied from the grand piano, and interacted with the host and guests. The After Hours Singers (Taylor Newby, Trista Dollison, Matt Dengler) sang the original theme song, and provided harmonized introductions.

"Show Biz After Hours With Frank DiLella" will be a regular theater-based live talk show featuring Broadway movers-and-shakers, impromptu musical performances, audience interaction, and a cocktail or two! Musical director for the show is performer and composer Randy Redd. The very special event was filmed and will be aired on Time Warner Cable's On Demand System.

Frank DiLella's celebrity interviews, along with his in-depth reporting of the theatrical scene for NY1, have helped make him a universally trusted friend and confident, as well as one of the most popular personalities in entertainment journalism.
