Paper Mill Playhouse will open its 2015-2016 season with the world premiere musical The Bandstand. As previously announced, Tony Award nominee Laura Osnes (Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella, Bonnie and Clyde), Corey Cott (Newsies, Gigi) and Tony Award winner Beth Leavel (The Drowsy Chaperone, 42nd Street) will star in The Bandstand. The Bandstand begins performances Thursday, October 8, 2015, and runs through Sunday, November 8, 2015. Check out more photos here.

The North American Tour of the Tony® & Grammy® Award-winning Broadway hit Beautiful-The Carole King Musical officially launched at the Providence Performing Arts Center in Providence, RI, on September 18, 2015. The run at PPAC was September 15-20, 2015, and the production is now playing at the Durham Performing Arts Center in Durham, NC from September 23 - October 4, 2015. On September 15, the Tony Award-winning production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time welcomed Tyler Lea in his Broadway debut as Christopher, Rosie Benton (Stick Fly) as Siobhan,Andrew Long (The Iceman Cometh at BAM) as Ed, and Nancy Robinette ("Louie") as Mrs. Alexander. The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present acclaimed singer, actor and impressionist Christina Bianco, who returned to the historic stage with her solo show, PARTY OF ONE, this past Sunday and Monday.In this new show, Christina shared her eclectic musical and artistic influences. From her New York roots, to global travels, to her love of celebrity divas, Christina took the packed houses on a musical comedy journey, retracing the steps that led her to become a multi-faceted party of one. Clive Owen, Eve Best and Kelly Reilly star in Old Times, the unsettling drama of desire and blurred realities by Nobel Laureate Harold Pinter. Owen is Deeley, a man quite looking forward to meeting Anna (Best), his wife Kate's (Reilly) friend from long ago. But as the night goes on, Anna's visit quickly shifts from an ordinary sharing of memories to a quiet battle for power. Grammy and Emmy Award-winner Joe Raposo and Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winner Sheldon Harnick's uplifting musical A WONDERFUL LIFE reminds us how one person's life can touch that of so many others. Based on the beloved 1946 holiday movie classic, this charming musical is sure to inspire and entertain. A WONDERFUL LIFE is currentlyi running through November 29 at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, Conn. Official Press Opening will be October 14, 2015. Check out more photos here.

Producers Bruce Robert Harris and Jack W. Batman and The Transfer Group have announced that CARRIE THE MUSICAL will return to Los Angeles at the historic Los Angeles Theatre, the first theatrical musical at that venue. SPRING AWAKENING closes out The Barn Stage Company's 2015 Summer Series. After working on the national tour of MURDER FOR TWO and Disney's THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, J. Scott Lapp returns to The Barn Stage Company directing this Tony Award-winning musical sensation. The Barn Stage Company's engagement began performances on September 17 and will run through September 27, 2015, in the newly renovated Truax Building in Old Town Temecula. 54 BELOW presents Josh Grisetti in "Don't Bother, I'm Here", continuing tonight, September 24, at 7pm. Through laughter and song, Josh candidly tells one man's harrowing true story of Broadway dreaming and disaster, LIVE with a 7-piece band! Inspired by an article published earlier this year by Michael Gioia, Josh narrates his own journey from a small-town kid to Broadway's newest star- exposing all of the victories and defeats in between. The story begins with Josh seeing his first musical, and ends in real-time with his first-ever solo performance at 54 Below, months after making a critically-acclaimed Broadway debut (the title role in this season's IT SHOULDA BEEN YOU).
