Photo Flash: Adam Sansiveri to Run New York City Marathon in Support of Broadway Dreams

Most people in the Broadway community know about The Broadway Dreams Foundation, the country's premier performing arts education foundation. Their faculty members are some of the communities most prominent and successful performers; such as Nick Adams, Tituss Burgess, Norm Lewis, Leslie Odom Jr., Nicholas Rodriguez, Morgan James, Stafford Arima, Nicole Parker, Spencer Liff, Taye Diggs, and the list goes on. But like most great nonprofits, it's the people behind the scenes that are funding such programs and working every day to make a difference.

Adam Sansiveri is one such individual for The Broadway Dreams Foundation, and he is about to go the distance to help raise awareness and funds to increase student scholarships by running The New York City Marathon on November 1st.

Adam is no stranger to the world of theatre and entertainment. As a former opera singer and Broadway producer he knows how much hard work, dedication and determination it takes to succeed in such a competitive business, and likens it to successfully completing a marathon.

"I wanted to take a less traditional road to raising awareness for the continued need to fund Arts Education and the amazing work that Broadway Dreams does. The amount of time you must spending training and the sacrifices you must make to stay healthy while running over a hundred miles a month, feels synonymous to the hard road most performers must travel to reach their dreams," Adam said when asked why the marathon.

Sansiveri is a Board Member of the Broadway Dreams Foundation, and a Director in the Entertainment | Media | Sports Group at Bernstein Private Wealth Management, where he manages the investments for some of the most successful and prominent individuals in all areas of those industries, including Broadway.
