Casting has been announced for ROARING TRADE by Steve Thompson (Dr Who, Sherlock, Upstairs Downstairs), directed by Alan Cohen, at Park Theatre from Wednesday 23 September - Saturday 24 October, with a press night on Wednesday 30 September. Check out a sneak peek below!

Canary Wharf. As the curtain comes down on the recession, four wildly different bond traders put their limits to the test.

The coarse tactics of top dog Donny are challenged when young, bright Cambridge graduate Spoon arrives and fights to stake his claim in the bank. Savvy young Jess is wrapping clients around her little finger, but seasoned trader PJ lags behind as he struggles to paper over the cracks of a family life in suburbia.

In glass buildings that never sleep, what will it take to shatter the glass ceiling?

Nick Moran will star as 'Donny', alongside Michael McKell as 'PJ', Lesley Harcourt as 'Jess', Timothy George as 'Spoon',Melanie Gutteridge as 'Sandy', and introducing William Nye as 'Sean'.

Timothy and Melissa commented, "STAMPTheatre sets out to combine experience with emerging talent. We produce theatre that explores the social expectations placed upon young adults in today's fast-paced culture. STAMP's founding members are young people with big ideas who hear the confusion of their contemporaries and the feelings of uncertainty for their futures. We are passionately committed to making theatre that is seen through their eyes."

Michael McKell is perhaps best known for his three year starring role in Doctors as well as playing 'DC Nick Henshall' in Emmerdale, 'D.I Trevor Hands' in ITV's Murder Investigation Team and Channel 4's Totally Frank. On stage Michael has starred in Blood Brothers, the role of 'Stoner' in Ben Elton's Tonight's the Night and the Olivier winning Crazy for You. His film credits include Essex Boys with Sean Bean.

Timothy George trained at Mountview, and most recently appeared as 'Benji' in Positive at Park Theatre. Other theatre credits include The Woman in the Moon (Rose Playhouse), Briefs (Waterloo East Theatre), The Comedy of Oedipus (Lion & Unicorn Theatre), Medea (Guildhall Art Gallery), Fire Island (Charing Cross Theatre), Spring Awakening (Salford Arts Theatre) and The Shadow Master (King's Head Theatre). Television includes Amundsen (BBC), The 11 O'Clock Show (Channel 4) and Persuasion (BBC).'

Melanie Gutteridge trained at Weber-Douglas and is best known for her role as 'PC Emma Keane' in ITV1's The Bill. Other screen credits include the BBC drama Dalziel and Pascoe, The Vice with Ken Stott, Manchild, Warriors, Dream Team, the BBC comedy Fifteen Stories High and films Long Time Dead and Large for Film Four. Her theatre credits include Rebecca at the Liverpool Playhouse, Alone Together and Habeas Corpus.

Lesley Harcourt has worked extensively in television, including playing the regular role of Gemma Kerr in ITV's Taggart. Her theatre work includes: The Collector (Edinburgh & Arcola), This is Ceildh! (Edinburgh), Foreplay (Kings Head Theatre, London- Best Female Performance nomination at the

2104 Off West End Awards), The Mercy Seat (York Theatre Royal), White Rose (Edinburgh Traverse, Glasgow Tron), Being Norwegian & Her Big Chance (one of Alan Bennett's celebrated Talking Heads for Firebrand Theatre Co at The Wynd Theatre), Blithe Spirit (Vienna's English Theatre), Joking Apart (Exeter Northcott), and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Royal Lyceum, Nottingham Playhouse and No1 Tour).

16-year old William Nye has performed on stage at the National Theatre, the Donmar Warehouse and the Royal Opera House, and his TV credits include Blue Peter and Sadie Jones for the BBC.
