As a part of Reconciliation Week 2024, the internationally renowned physical theatre company, Legs On The Wall, will debut an original aerial performance, Now and Ever, at Sydney’s iconic Quay Quarter Tower.

On Sunday 19 May, Sydney’s biggest annual comedy event, the Sydney Comedy Festival, drew to a close with the announcement of its 2024 award winners: Lou Wall, David Correos, and Elouise Eftos who each took home along with their trophy a $1500 prize.

Belvoir will bring Never Closer, an astonishing debut play by Grace Chapple in a production direct from 2022’s 25A season upstairs to Belvoir’s mainstage from 25th May to 16th June, 2024.

Riverside Theatres will present Circus Trick Tease’s Children Are Stinky, an award-winning kid’s comedy filled with daredevil stunts, incredible acrobatics, and a heartfelt dose of self-confidence on stage from Thursday 11th to Saturday 13th July. 

Riverside Theatres and Red Line Productions will present The Bugalugs Bum Thief, a bum-tastic musical adaptation of Tim Winton's award-winning children's book of the same name, at Riverside Theatres Parramatta from 17th – 21st July this Winter School Holidays.

Final cast members have been announced by producer Craig Baldwin in association with Hayes Theatre Co for the upcoming chamber opera The Turn of the Screw.

FORM Dance Projects will launch its new annual Dance Festival IDEA - Independent Dance Exchange Australia. The National Gallery will stage an exhibition of Lindy Lee’s work to coincide with the opening ofOuroboros, the major public sculptural work by Lee commissioned for the National Gallery’s 40thanniversary to be installed in the Sculpture Garden.
