Chance Theater presents the second show of its 16th Anniversary Season - the humorous and inventive glimpse behind-the-scenes of the traditional Passion play produced in three distinctively different locations and times. Written by two-time Pulitzer Prize Finalist Sarah Ruhl, with direction by Trevor Biship (director of Chance's Ovation Award-winning Jerry Springer: The Opera). Passion Play will preview now through May 2, open May 3 and continue through May 25 at Chance Theater at Bette Aitken Theater Arts Center. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's masterpiece Into the Woods opens in previews at Kansas City Repertory Theatre September 11. Opening night is September 18; the show closes October 4. Tony Award nominee Moisés Kaufman directs.

Eric Sciotto was the Gypsy Robe recipient for Pal Joey at Studio 54. He passed on the robe to Shrek's talented dynamo Jennifer Cody in a fun and emotion filled ceremony. The smash hit London musical Jerry Springer - The Opera In Concert plays Carnegie Hall (881 7th Avenue) for two nights only: yesterday January 29 and this evening January 30, 2008 at 8PM.

Casting has been announced for the London production of Jersey Boys, the Tony Award award-winning Broadway musical. The show will open in London's West End at the Prince Edward Theatre on Tuesday March 18, 2008, following previews from February 28, 2008. The London cast will be headed by Ryan Molloy as Frankie Valli, Stephen Ashfield as Bob Gaudio, Glenn Carter as Tommy DeVito and Philip Bulcock as Nick Massi.
