It has been an epic year for Broadway, with a whopping fourteen musicals having opened in 2014. Before we get wrapped up in the theatre season ahead, BroadwayWorld wants to stop and salute the shows that made this year great. Check out our 2014 wrap up below! NBC's Natalie Moralis stopped by the set of NBC's PETER PAN LIVE to speak with the 'Lost Boys' and find out what they like most about their characters.

Wednesday night, NBC pulled back the curtain on the upcoming PETER PAN LIVE! and shared secrets about the production. Watch highlights below!

DRG Records just kicked off the release of Gerard Alessandrini's Forbidden Broadway: Comes Out Swinging! (2014 Un-Original Cast Album), produced by Grammy Award winner Hugh Fordin, yesterday at Barnes & Noble (150 East 86 Street). The cast along with writer/creator and director Gerard Alessandrini and longtime Forbidden Broadway illustrator and CD cover artist Ken Fallin, were on hand to sign the CD and for performances. As announced earlier this evening, Jason Robert Brown won the 2014 Tony Awards for Best Original Score and Best Orchestrations for THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY. The Broadway Fashion Report will cover the red carpet looks of the 2014 Tony Awards, as well as opening nights of the upcoming 2014-15 Broadway season. STARS IN THE ALLEY, presented by United Airlines, was presented earlier this week in Shubert Alley, between Broadway and 8th Avenue and 44th and 45th Streets. To add to the festivities leading up to the Tony Awards, the free outdoor concert in the heart of the Theatre District celebrated Broadway with star appearances and exciting performances from over 20 new shows and long-running favorites, accompanied by a live 12-piece orchestra. Broadway Producer Ken Davenport and Davenport Theatrical just presented the first annual Davenport Songwriting Contest. 10 songs competed for the title of 'Best Song' and a $500 Grand Prize.
