Summer 2016 - A new British rock musical premiered at London's Cockpit Theatre. It was called '27' and it caused a real stir amongst audiences. Fast forward 18 months and now titled Myth, the production has been re-conceived for a strictly limited run of nine performances at The Other Palace.
A modern retelling of the Ancient Greek tale of Orpheus and the underworld, Myth features an electrifying score with outstanding performances from an ensemble comprising the best up and coming new talent. Speaking exclusively to TOP, the show's writer and composer Sam Cassidy said: "It's true that musicals are not written, but rather rewritten. The Old Globe's Erna Finci Viterbi Artistic Director Barry Edelstein today announced the appointments of Lamar Perry and Kim Montelibano Heil as Associate Producers.
