TREASURE ISLAND follows the adventures of young Jim Hawkins, cabin boy aboard the Hispanola as he travels in search of treasure on the mysterious Skeleton Island. Along the way he encounters fantastic characters such as the mad Ben Gunn, hideous apparition of evil, Blind Pew, murderous Israel Hands, and of course, Long John Silver, one of the most charismatic anti-heroes in all of literature. Will Jim save the ship and return home with the treasure, or will he fall in with the mutinous pirates.

The Jeff Awards have announced 105 nominations in 24 categories for Non-Equity Jeff Awards, which honor excellence in Chicago theatres not under a union contract, for productions that opened between April 1, 2009, and March 31, 2010. The Jeff Awards judged the opening nights of 116 productions offered by 55 non-Equity producing organizations and recommended 51 shows for further judging, making those 51 eligible for Non-Equity Jeff Award nominations in all categories.

48 years after Judi Dench first played Titania in the 1962 Royal Shakespeare Company production of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' directed by Peter Hall, she revisits the role again in a new production of 'Dream', also helmed by Hall, and currently playing at the Rose Theatre in Kingston.

StageRight Productions is proud to present the inaugural production of what they hope will become a perennial holiday event, CLARA'S CHRISTMAS DREAMS, E. Thomalen's new adaptation of The Nutcracker, published by Baker Plays. With music by Tim Starnes and direction by Bruce Merrill, the show will begin performances on November 24th at the Theatre at Saint Clements Church, located at 423 West 46th Street.
