Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) announced the winners of the 2019 TRU Voices New Musicals Reading Series: Miracolo by Jarlath Barsanti-Jacobs and Emilio Solla; and Seeing Red by Joey Mazzarino and Aron Accurso.The two musicals will be performed on Monday evening January 14th and Monday evening February 4th respectively. Both performances will be at 7pm at the Actors Temple, 339 West 47th Street, New York, NY. After his hit production of King Charles III, David Muse returns to Shakespeare Theatre Company to direct Shakespeare's Richard the Third, a mesmerizing chronicle of the megalomaniac's rampage to the throne. The new full-length from 7Horse entitled Superfecta is out today. This is the swamp rock duo's fourth studio album and the follow up to 2016's Livin' in a Bitch of a World.  7Horse have also just wrapped up a cross-country tour and will soon be announcing new dates for 2019. 

The Donmar Warehouse today announces full casting for Berberian Sound Studio conceived for the stage by Joel Horwood and Tom Scutt. The National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene's Off-Broadway production of Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish, directed by Academy and Tony Award winner Joel Grey, will be releasing a cast album. The cast recording, released by Time Life Music and distributed byWarner Music Group, will be available in 2019, with an official date to be announced before the show transfers to Off-Broadway's Stage 42 in February.

The nonprofit Sundance Institute announced today the showcase of new independent feature films selected across all categories for the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. The Festival hosts screenings in Park City, Salt Lake City and at Sundance Mountain Resort, from January 24 - February 3, 2019.

The producers of the bold new stage production of AMERICAN PSYCHO - THE MUSICAL have announced that the iconic role of Patrick Bateman will be played by stage and screen star Ben Gerrard. The musical of American Psycho, based on the thriller novel by Bret Easton Ellis which also inspired the 2000 film starring Christian Bale, will have its Australian Premiere at the Hayes Theatre Co from 10 May 2019.

The event will take place in LAAC's historic Centennial Ballroom and Olympic Lounge. A festive night of cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, live music, and casino games benefitting POPS the Club, an LA-­based nonprofit that transforms the lives of teens who have loved ones in prison.

7Horse has announced the first batch of dates for their upcoming 'Superfecta Tour.' Their new studio album of the same name will be released on December 7th. According to Deadline, Margot Robbie is set to play Sharon Tate in upcoming Quentin Tarantino picture ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD. The Oscar-Nominated star of I, TONYA joins previously cast Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio in the film. 

Variety has reported that Leonardo DiCaprio will star in Quentin Tarantino's currently untitled film about Charles Manson. DiCaprio will portray an aging, out of work actor. Margot Robbie currently being considered for the role of Sharon Tate. Tom Cruise and Al Pacino are also being pursued for the film.
