Description:

The Dorian De Long Arts and Music Scholarship encourages students to continue an arts education, creating a well-rounded student who has critical thinking skills, effective communication skills and creative problem solving abilities, leading to a stronger individual and community.

The Dorian De Long Arts and Music Scholarship is awarded to a graduating high school student who intends to pursue advanced education in the study of arts. The scholarship (currently $1,500-2,500) is awarded annually in memory of Dorian De Long, a passionate educator and education activist, who believed in the power of the arts to transform lives.
