Auburn Jam Records has announced that Nadim Naaman's debut album, We All Want The Same, will be released on August 23rd, 2013, featuring 11 original songs written by Nadim over the past ten years, the album spans pop, jazz, R'n'B, and musical theatre. Limited edition signed copies of the album are now available to pre-order. The album will be available for download via all major online retailers from August 23rd. The West-End production of SWEENEY TODD, starring Michael Ball as Sweeney Todd and Imelda Staunton as Mrs. Lovett, opened to raves on March 20 at the Adelphi Theatre following its sell-out success at the Chichester Festival Theatre. Prominent players from the world of musical theatre have come together to record a unique collection of original musical theatre and cabaret songs, all composed by Danny Davies, with additional lyrics by playwright, director and actor Pete Gallagher, and lyricist Judy Wolfson in the new album Hey, Producer! Following sell-out success at Chichester Festival Theatre, Jonathan Kent's acclaimed production of Sweeney Todd transfers to London's West End for a limited season from 10 March 2012. Widely acknowledged as Stephen Sondheim's musical masterpiece, Sweeney Todd stars distinguished musical performer Michael Ball as the eponymous demon barber of Fleet Street and Oscar-nominated actress Imelda Staunton as the devoted Mrs Lovett. Following last year's sell-out success, MAD presented this year's annual festive fundraiser at The Actors' Church, Covent Garden, A WEST END CHRISTMAS. The event took place on December 4, and guests perfoming included: Peter Bowles, Maureen Lipman, Nigel Harman, Alison Jiear, Scott Garnham, Will Barratt & Keiran B. Brown, alongside West End Casts including: Disney's The Lion King, The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Shrek, 39 Steps and Legally Blonde. The evening also featued an original song by Bobby Cronin and Angelyn Benson from their adaptation of A CHRISTMAS CAROL, performed by Jye Frasca (JERSEY BOYS, THRILL ME).
