The Old Globe presents the West Coast premiere of Paul Gordon's delightfully romantic new musical SENSE AND SENSIBILITY, developed with Rick Boynton and presented in association with Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where it was commissioned and had its world premiere in April 2015. CST Artistic Director Barbara Gaines returns to the show as director of the Globe production. SENSE AND SENSIBILITY will play now through August 14, 2016 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Long Wharf Theatre, under the leadership of Artistic Director Gordon Edelstein and Managing Director Joshua Borenstein, concludes its 50th anniversary season with the world premiere of The Second Mrs. Wilson by Joe DiPietro. San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders made a visit yesterday to WICKED and posed for a photo with the cast onstage as they took a break from their rehearsal schedule. He recognized Production Stage Manager and SD native Peter Van Dyke and the cast for their national efforts for equality - especially the Fundraising Benefit 'DEFYING INEQUALITY,' that took place at the BIRCH THEATRE on Monday, August 24!
