On Friday March 26, New York Theatre Workshop will host a closed reading of THE CONSEQUENCES, a new musical by Kyle Jarrow and Nathan Leigh. A bittersweet indie rock love story about roads not taken and dreams not followed, THE CONSEQUENCES is a winking deconstruction of the romantic comedy genre, exploring themes of fate, choice and the difficulty of knowing one's own heart.

Monday, February 8 saw the launch of the 2010 24 Hour Musicals. The cast included stars Malcolm Gets, Cady Huffman, Kathleen Turner, Jeanine Tesori, in addition to John Ellison Conlee, Christopher Gatelli, Adam Gwon, Julia Jordan, Moisés Kaufman, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Richard Kind, Nancy Opel, Steven Pasquale, Mo Rocca, Jonathan Marc Sherman, Ted Sperling, Tracie Thomas, Alicia Will, and David Yazbeck.
Creative Teams and Casting Announced for THE 24 HOUR MUSICALS

Creative teams and casting have been set for the four brand new musical which make up the Monday, February 8, 2010 'The 24 Hour Musicals' held at The Gramercy Theatre (127 East 23rd Street, between Park and Lexington Aves) - doors open at 7:00pm for a 7:30pm performance, it has been announced by producers The 24 Hour Company and the Exchange.

Broadway stars Lisa Brescia and Kristy Cates have been announced as artists for the upcoming New York Public Library Songbook Series, taking place November 30th. Eric Rosen kicks off his second season as Kansas City Rep's artistic director with an audacious production of INTO THE WOODS (September 18 - October 4). The Tony Award-winning musical by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine is being staged by Broadway director Moisés Kaufman, who will take the audience on a wild trip into the darker side of the woods, where they will experience a different version of familiar fairy tale characters. Choreography is by Daniel Pelzig. The show also features extensive puppetry created by Kansas City's puppet master Paul Mesner.
