Netflix announced their new partnership with The Duffer Brothers, the creators of Stranger Things. The new play will be will be set within the 'world and mythology of Stranger Things' and produced by Sonia Friedman, Stephen Daldry, and Netflix. Daldry, known for his work on The Crown and Billy Elliot, will also direct the production.

Two Portraiture Exhibitions to Open at the Art Gallery of South Australia

The enduring power of portraiture through time will be on show when two major exhibitions open at the Art Gallery of South Australia in July. Large-scale video portraits by ground-breaking artist Robert Wilson will be presented in the Australian premiere and exclusive exhibition, Robert Wilson: Moving portraits, alongside Archie 100: A Century of the Archibald Prize - a national touring exhibition that celebrates 100 years of Australia’s most prestigious portrait award. One ticket will give audiences access to experience both exhibitions.

On Saturday, May 14, 2022, Netflix hosted a Global Red Carpet and Premiere Screening event in celebration of “STRANGER THINGS 4” at Netflix Studios in Brooklyn, New York. The screening opened with remarks by: Ted Sarandos and Bela Bajaria of Netflix, followed by Shawn Levy and Matt & Ross Duffer. Afterward, the cast, creators and guests celebrated the series’ premiere at Netflix Studios Brooklyn, closing out the night.

35th Annual Israel Film Festival to Honor Henry Winkler

The 35th ISRAEL FILM FESTIVAL in Los Angeles, the largest showcase of Israeli cinema and television in North America, will honor acclaimed actor/director/producer/author Henry Winkler with the 2022 IFF Career Achievement Award and real estate/philanthropist David Wiener with the 2022 IFF Humanitarian Award on April 29th during the Festival’s annual sponsor luncheon at the Four Seasons Hotel at Beverly Hills. The event serves as the launch of this year’s Festival which will take place May 5th – 26th both in-person and online, announced Meir Fenigstein, founder and executive director of the Israel Film Festival.
