The York Theatre Company, dedicated to the development of new musicals and preserving musical gems from the past, continues the Fall 2014 Musicals in Mufti Series with A Time for Singing, with book and lyrics by Gerald Freedman and John Morris, and music by John Morris, based on the novel 'How Green Was My Valley' by Richard Llewellyn.

The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Andrew Levine, Executive Director), presents acclaimed jazz vocalist Stevie Holland in the Off-Broadway premiere of the tour-de-force musical Love, Linda: The Life of Mrs. Cole Porter. Love, Linda has book by Ms. Holland with Gary William Friedman, music & lyrics by Cole Porter, and arrangements & additional music by Mr. Friedman. Tony Award-winner Richard Maltby, Jr. is the Director.

Peter Flynn directs, with choreography by Devanand Janki, and music direction by Mark Fifer. The seven-member cast features Andrea Burns, Wally Dunn, Darius de Haas, Alexander Gemignani, Jessica Grové and Joe Ricci. Angela DeCicco replaces previously announced Andrea Bianchi.

York Theatre Company launched its new "New2NY" series last weekend with a concert presentation and New York premiere of the musical Jack: A Musical Drama on the Life of John F. Kennedy, with book and lyrics by Tom Sawyer and Will Holt, music by Will Holt, and based on a an original concept by Tom Sawyer. Kennedy, and a Developmental Lab presentation of Buddy's Tavern, with book by Raymond De Felitta, music by Kim Oler, and lyrics by Alison Hubbard at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (Entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

The New York Musical Theatre Festival presents LEGACY FALLS - the musical comedy where soap opera is a dirty business - from July 16 to 24, 2013. The show has Music & Lyrics by James Burn and Book by James Burn and Ian Poitier. The show is Directed and Choreographed by Ian Poitier with Music Direction byJonathan E. Gill. The show was originally presented at the New Players Theatre in London, UK in 2010. LEGACY FALLS is an Official Selection of the 2013 New York Musical Theatre Festival.
