Mark Taper Foundation, followed by a live performance of Harry Nilsson’s 1970 album, The Point! starring Kiefo Nilsson, Pamela Adlon and a 14-piece orchestra.

A live rendition starring Kiefo Nilsson (Harry’s son) and a 14-piece band, and narrated by celebrated actor/musician John C. Reilly, will be the centerpiece of a Holiday Family Faire, presented by Will Geer’s Theatricum Botanicum at its spectacular outdoor venue in Topanga on Saturday, Dec. 11. (Rain date: Dec. 18.)

Award-winning theatre company The Vagrancy will begin accepting submissions for its 2021/2022 writers' group on Tuesday, October 12th 2021. This year's theme is Truth and Relativity.

The Vagrancy's writing group is a nine-month-long development process that supports selected playwrights in the creation of new, original theatre. From October to May, the group will meet every other Wednesday evening (allowing for holiday breaks) to read and discuss the plays-in-progress.

'A lean an hungry look,' Julius Caesar’s oft-quoted descriptor for Cassius, is an apt metaphor for the season-opening production of JULIUS CAESAR at the Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum, and not always in a good way. The leanness box is dutifully checked, but director Ellen Geer’s production could certainly be hungrier and more thought out.
