The action-packed CINEMAX drama series STRIKE BACK kicks off its sixth season, FRIDAY, JAN. 25 (10:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT). Shot entirely in Malaysia, the new season features returning stars Warren Brown (“Luther,” “The Dark Knight Rises”), Daniel MacPherson (“A Wrinkle in Time”) and Alin Sumarwata (“Neighbours,” “Burning Man”), along with new cast members Jamie Bamber (“Battlestar Galactica,” “Monday Mornings”) and Yasemin Allen (“Water and Fire”).

British screen legend Jane Horrocks will give advice to students as part of a partnership between the University of Salford and playwright Jim Cartwright.

Glenn is one half of Platinum selling 80's synth pop bandHeaven 17, whose big hits include 'Temptation', 'Come Live With Me' & 'Crushed By The Wheels of Industry'. Glenn was also one of the singers on the original Band Aid single 'Feed The World' and sings inTony Visconti and Woody Woodmansey's  band, Holy Holy, performing some of Bowie's biggest hits.

Ovation, America's only arts network, has announced the premiere date for the third and final season of X Company. Inspired by the true story of Camp X, a top-secret Allied spy training facility in Lake Ontario, the series stars Evelyne Brochu (Orphan Black), Jack Laskey (Endeavour), Hugh Dillon (Flashpoint, Continuum), Warren Brown (Luther, Strike Back), Connor Price (Being Human), Torben Liebrecht (Homeland) and Lara Jean Chorostecki (Designated Survivor, Hannibal). Season Three of X Company will debut on Monday, August 20th at 10pm ET / 7pm PT on Ovation.

Currently debuting episodes Friday nights (10:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT), with the fifth-season finale scheduled for April 6, the show follows the explosive escapades of Section 20, an elite, multinational, covert special ops team, as it spans the globe fighting a vast web of interconnected criminal and terrorist activity.

STRIKE BACK Begins Fifth Season 2/2 On Cinemax

New team. Same attitude.The high-intensity CINEMAX series STRIKE BACK returns for its ten-episode fifth season with a new cast FRIDAY, FEB. 2 (10:00-10:50 p.m. ET/PT).

The Brown Arts Initiative (BAI) at Brown University today announced the launch of the Warren and Allison Kanders Lecture Series, an annual series of presentations and student interactions led by prominent contemporary artists and art-world luminaries. Designed to serve as a catalyst for open dialogue about the impact of contemporary visual art on our world, the new series will include four presentations per year beginning in October 2017. Inaugural participants include artists Nick Cave, Wangechi Mutu, and Shirin Neshat and The Studio Museum in Harlem director and chief curator Thelma Golden.
