The Alley Theatre has announced the cancellation of all in-person performances of the 2020-21 season. The following shows are affected by the cancellation: Born with Teeth by Liz Duffy Adams (January 22 – February 14, 2021), Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett (March 5 – 28, 2021), and more.

MRT will present a new work-in-progress by playwright and actor Vichet Chum (KNYUM at MRT in 2018) as the final entry in MRT's FIRST LOOK reading series live on Zoom at 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, according to Courtney Sale, the Nancy L. Donahue Artistic Director, and Bonnie J. Butkas, Executive Director. Pirronne Yousefzadeh will direct.

The Alley Theatre announces the line-up for the 2020 Alley All New Festival, January 16 - January 26, 2020. The fifth annual festival will feature readings, workshop performances, and an early preview of seven new plays. Festival playwrights include Katie Bender, Vichet Chum, Arthur M. Jolly, Jiehae Park, Theresa Rebeck, C. Denby Swanson, and Sharr White. Special packages are available for the final weekend of the festival and include priority seating, exclusive artist access, and meals between performances. Advance reservations for individual events are recommended and can be made on December 16 at alleytheatre.org. All readings and workshop performances are free and open to the public.
