Following their current season which has included the sold out critical and box-office hits Three Sisters by Anton Chekhov and David Ives' The School for Lies, Classic Stage Company (CSC), under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick and Executive Director Jessica R. Jenen, has announced details for their upcoming 2011-12 season, the esteemed Off-Broadway downtown theater company's 45th.

Aaron Louis (Producing Director, 3LD Art & Technology Center) in association with New Georges and The Essentials, will present the world premiere of THE DIARY OF A TEENAGE GIRL, written by Marielle Heller, adapted from the hit graphic novel of the same name by Phoebe Gloeckner, and directed by Sarah Cameron Sunde and Rachel Eckerling in a multi-media production. Performances began on Sunday, March 15 3LD Art & Technology Center, 80 Greenwich Street (just south of Rector Street). The production will end its run Monday, April 12.)

Classic Stage Company (CSC), under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick and Executive Director Jessica R. Jenen, will present The Age of Iron, an epic retelling of the Trojan War, drawn from Shakespeare's Troilus & Cressida and Thomas Heywood's Iron Age, adapted and directed by Brian Kulick. Previews for The Age of Iron will begin Friday, November 6, with an official opening Sunday, November 22 at Classic Stage Company at 7pm. The Age of Iron will play a limited engagement through December 13 only.
