The 25th annual WA Screen Awards (WASAs), presented by the Film & Television Institute (FTI) are set to return with a bang at the Astor Theatre in Perth tonight 2 August 2013, with a record number of entries, brand new award categories and celebrity guests including Rachael Blake (SLEEPING BEAUTY, LANTANA, THE STRAITS) and Tony Martin (WILDSIDE, HEARTBREAK HIGH, CANDY).

The Film & Television Institute (FTI) announced the successful 2013 nominees for the 25th annual WA Screen Awards (WASAs) at an exclusive event held tonight as part of the Revelation Perth International Film Festival at the Astor Theatre in Perth.

Singer Nicole Dillenberg stars in a one-woman cabaret style concert that pays tribute to Hollywood star Alice Faye at a 2 PM matinee performance today, June 30th at Arthur Newman Theatre in The Joslyn Center in Palm Desert. Ms. Faye lived in Rancho Mirage and passed away May 9, 1998 at the age of 83. In 'Yes To You', Nicole Dillenberg will tell stories about Alice Faye's long and illustrious career and personal life including her marriage to Phil Harris and Tony Martin.

Strand Theater Company presents a Baltimore Premiere of You Probably Think This Play Is About You by Maija DiGiorgio - a one-woman hilarious and meaningful exploration of love and life, artifice and theatrics, through the eyes of modernized Shakespearean characters. Closely related to Shakespeare's As You Like It, like Rosalind, Maija dons a variety of 'masks' in her effort to trick the man of her dreams into falling in love with her. Written by Maija DiGiorgio, Adam Greenbaum, and Tony Martinelli. Choreographed by Heather McConnell. Directed by Rain Pryor. The production will begin with a Dress Rehearsal on Thursday, March 21, will officially open the following night, and run through April 6. Tickets to the Dress Rehearsal are $5, Opening Night - $25, general admission $20, Seniors (over 65) - $15, Students (with ID) -$10.

The Best of Broadway & Cabaret will come out in support of the Actors' Temple, (est. 1917) on Monday, November 26, 2012 at 6:45 PM. The Third Annual Concert will take place at the Temple, 339 West 47th Street. This theater district historic landmark has been struggling to survive in recent years.
