The Ensemble Company, now in their fourth year in residence at Penguin Point Productions located within the Oviedo Mall, will conclude its season with a new adaptation of Charles Dickens’s perennial yuletide tale, A Christmas Carol. 

Virginia Stage Company (VSC) and Core Theatre Ensemble (CTE) present Ginna Hoben's The Twelve Dates of Christmas, a hilarious contemporary comedy about the modern dating scene during the holiday season.  This season special will run in tandem with Virginia Stage Company's favorite holiday tradition of A Merry Little Christmas Carol from December 8 -18, 7 performances only!

Ensemble Theatre Company is presenting CARMEN JONES, music by Georges Bizet with book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, choreography by Lisa Ruffin, musical direction by William Foster McDaniel, and directed by Jonathan Fox. The Ensemble Company, now in their fourth year in residence at Penguin Point Productions located within the Oviedo Mall, will continue its season with Aaron Posner’s Stupid F***ing Bird, “sort of adapted from The Seagull by Anton Chekhov.”  The production will mark the Central Florida debut of the piece, which premiered at the Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company in 2013.

From October 19 to November 6 at Cherry Lane Theatre, 38 Commerce Street, The Negro Ensemble Company, Inc. will present 'Our Voices, Our Time,' a program of three one-acts that have been co-commissioned by Penn Live Arts at the University of Pennsylvania.

'The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley' is Jane Austin fanfiction that allows her popular characters life after the end of the novel. By Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon, The Wickhams is harmless entertainment that transports the audience back to England of the early 1800s.

“The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley,” written by Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon and produced by Ensemble Theater Company, is the second of three imagined sequels to Jane Austen’s 'Pride and Prejudice.' This play takes place concurrently with the first of this trilogy, “Miss Bennett: Christmas at Pemberley,” which was performed by Ensemble Theatre Company pre-pandemic.
