The 8th Annual Nightlife Awards, hosted by Emmy Award winner Bruce Vilanch, will celebrate the most outstanding performances this past year in cabaret, comedy and jazz in the clubs of New York City. The show will take place at Town Hall on Monday, January 25th (curtain at 7 PM).

The multiple Emmy-Award winning Bruce Vilanch has been announced as the host of the 8th Annual Nightlife Awards at The Town Hall.

The Abominable Showman got his due in a rousing celebration at Town Hall last week.

The Town Hall, Broadway's landmark concert venue, presented the fifth annual Broadway Cabaret Festival, October 16th- 18th. The Musical will have an open-ended run at the Hudson Mainstage Theatre (6539 Santa Monica Blvd.). The world premiere production, now in its fourth smash month, features music, lyrics and book by 2008 Frederick Loewe Award-winner Erin Kamler (Runway 69 at New Dramatists). The comedy sensation Celebrity Autobiography: In Their Own Words features a line-up of rotating performers who interpret the actual words and stories written by the famous and the infamous, in both solo and ensemble 'chamber' pieces.
