Two solo works by members of the Echo Theater Company are set for performances under the collective title Alone Together: Solos at the Echo. Conceived, written and performed by Ann Noble, Little Parts Hunts a Baby-Daddy will run Tuesdays at 8 p.m., March 15 through April 5. Created and performed by Sky Paley, Antiman can be seen every Sunday at 7:30 p.m., March 20 through April 10.

After being shuttered for twenty-three months, the Pickard Theater is alive once again with musical theatre, as Maine State Music Theatre in a co-production with Portland Stage, opens its 2021 season with an energizing, nostalgic, and uplifting concert, DREAM, THE MUSIC OF THE EVERLY BROTHERS. The two-dozen-song retrospective and remembrance of the pioneering music of Don and Phil Everly is created, conceived, and performed by Ben Hope and Eric Scott Anthony, who star as the country rock duo which topped charts throughout the 1950s-1970s and returned to become a new creative force again in the 1980s onward.

I’ve always had a soft spot for the songs of yesteryear. Jukebox musicals usually leave me in a happy place by the time the show ends. In the case of Million Dollar Quartet at Arvada, this show left me feeling the same way I felt from the moment it started - joyful.

This year's production features an all new cast starring Yvette Cason, Harley Jay, Beau Moore, Charlotte Morris and Scott Anthony. Due to scheduling issues, Lillias White will no longer be able to perform in I DIG ROCK AND ROLL MUSIC for this limited run at the Rubicon Theatre; and Yvette Cason (Broadway credits include Play On!, for which she also won an Ovation Award and Dreamgirls. Her regional credits include Blues in the Night at the Wallis and Shout Sister Shout at the Pasadena Playhouse), will now perform with the production through closing.
