Redhouse Arts Center continues its 2019/2020 season with August Wilson's Pulitzer Prize winning American masterpiece, Fences. The sixth Play in Wilson's Pittsburgh Cycle, Fences explores the African-American experience through the eyes of a former Negro League baseball star, Troy Maxson.

Craig Horsley is an interesting character. A popular one too. So when he cooked up this new show exploring love and revealing all of the emotions that come with it, it seems like the whole town came out to see him sing.

The Hidden Cabaret, the new cabaret series at the Secret Room at 707 8th Avenue, will unveil its latest production on February 10th at 7PM.

Last Thursday we had our first show of 2020 and what better way to kick off the New Year than our first-ever Rising Star Reunion! Complete casting has been announced for Cain Park's upcoming production of Ragtime, running from June 13 - June 30 with an official opening scheduled for June 14. The production will feature a cast of 25 actors.

Following a ten-month national search, Pioneer Theatre Company announced today that Christopher Massimine will join the company on July 1, 2019 as the theatre's managing director.

Just in time for Valentine's Day, Pioneer Theatre Company presents the romantic, Tony Award-winning musical Once, with music and lyrics by Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova and book by Enda Walsh. Based on the motion picture written and directed by John Carney, the Sundance film-turned-Broadway-hit won eight Tonys, including Best Musical. The touching love ballad, 'Falling Slowly,' also won the Oscar for Best Song. It runs February 15 through March 2, 2019.

The stage of the Ohio Theatre, Playhouse Square glows with good spirits and time-honored tradition when Great Lakes Theater (GLT) presents its 30th anniversary production of Charles Dickens' classic A Christmas Carol, running November 30 - December 23, 2018.
