Hell in a Handbag Productions has announced its 2022-23 season. The 21st season kicks off with the world premiere of FRANKENSTREISAND, conceived and written by ensemble member Tyler Anthony Smith* and directed by Stephanie Shaw, playing September 29 – October 31, 2022.

The music... the mem’ries... the magic... the dog cloning! This Halloween season, Hell in a Handbag Productions kicks off its 2022-23 season with the world premiere of FRANKENSTREISAND by Tyler Anthony Smith* and directed by Stephanie Shaw, playing September 29 – October 31, 2022 at Redline VR.

Following on from the success of merging live performance and live video capture, Kip Williams has given STRANGE CASE OF DR JEKYLL AND MR Hyde the same treatment with the addition of a second performer.  Gathering the same creative team that delivered the award-winning PICTURE OF DORIAN GREY, Williams and Sydney Theatre Company test whether the same formula can be used twice. 

Due to popular demand, Hell in a Handbag Productions’ hit parody A Fine Feathered Murder: A Miss Marbled Mystery has added five additional performances, extending through Saturday, August 13, 2022 at The Chopin Upstairs Theatre.

Hell in a Handbag Productions will conclude its 20th anniversary season with the world premiere of A Fine Feathered Murder: A Miss Marbled Mystery, by Artistic Director David Cerda*, directed by Cheryl Snodgrass.

Eclectic Full Contact Theatre has announced their return to live performances with The Patchwork New Play Festival-a celebration of nine of the best new one-act plays revolving around the theme of Resilience, running March 4th-6th and 11th-13th at the Edge Theatre at 5451 N Broadway in Chicago.
