Sundance Now Announces New Scripted Original Comedy BACK, Coming This Fall

Sundance Now, AMC Networks' premium video streaming service dedicated to bringing members high-quality, acclaimed independent film, documentaries and TV series, announced today a new scripted original co-production, BACK, created and written by Oscar nominee Simon Blackwell (Veep, In the Loop, Peep Show), directed by Ben Palmer (The Inbetweeners) and starring BAFTA winners David Mitchell (Peep Show) and Robert Webb (Peep Show).
West End's THE LORAX Announces Full Casting, Including Simon Lipkin

The Old Vic has today announced casting for David Greig's adaptation of Dr. Seuss's The Lorax, directed by Max Webster. Simon Lipkin will play the role of the Lorax, alongside puppeteers Laura Cubitt and Ben Thompson, whilst Simon Paisley Day takes the role of the Once-ler.

Robert Webb re-joins the Olivier award-winning comedy Jeeves and Wooster in Perfect Nonsense on tour from February - April 2015 following his West End run earlier this year. Jason Thorpe will play Jeeves and the role of Seppings will be played by Christopher Ryan from February - June 2015. The trio will be taking over from John Gordon Sinclair (Jeeves), James Lance (Bertie Wooster) and Robert Goodale (Seppings).

Featuring four well-loved British comics in Neil Morrissey, Robert Webb, Ade Edmondson and Miles Jupp, Firth tells the story of a group of managers who get lost in the Lake District while on a team-building weekend.

This past Sunday, May 18th, the sold out audience at the first NY revival of William Inge's A LOSS OF ROSES included Inge's nephew, James A. Mahan, as well as Mahan's children and grandchildren. They joined the cast onstage afterwards for a full family & company portrait. On behalf of the family, James Mahan's daughter Sandra wrote the following to the production the next day: 'A heartfelt thank you for having us! We so enjoyed the play and meeting the cast. Clearly everyone involved with this production put much heartfelt energy into it. Your theater has such a very warm and inviting feel which we embraced!'
