Alpha Omega Theatrical Dance Company, founded in 1972, celebrates its 50th Anniversary with the premiere of Once Upon El Barrio, conceived and choreographed by Enrique Cruz DeJesus, Artistic Director since 1998. Inspiration for his new work has come from the writings of Piri Thomas, poet and author of Seven Long Times, and Savior, Savior, Hold My Hand, and the best-selling autobiography Down These Mean Streets.

Starting August 3, 2013, Improv Comedy Troupe, EIGHT IS NEVER ENOUGH will be appearing weekly every Saturday at 3pm and 8pm at the Broadway Comedy Club (318 Wet 53rd, New York, NY 10019). Tickets for the interactive shows range $25-50 (Call Ovation Tix 866-811-4111). VIP tickets include beverage(s) and the best seats in the house. General admission requires 1-2 drink minimum and is seated on a first come / first serve basis.

Salgado Productions just presented the first staged reading of Carlos Mendoza's 'Valencia' musical at the Puerto Rican Traveling Theater as part of the 2013 Playwrights Unit Festival of Readings and Insight Series. Director/Choreographer Luis Salgado directed the reading as well as produce the show as it evolves. Broadway's In The Heights cast members Blanca Camacho, Doreen Montalvo and Ruben Flores are part of the cast that bring life to the very human characters of this compelling story of a loving elderly home, Valencia.

Improv Comedy Troupe, Eight Is Never Enough, has presented thousands of live shows in the past ten years, including "Improv 4 Kids" and "LMAO Off-Broadway". You can catch the live comedy in action weekly at the Broadway Comedy Club and touring nationwide to schools, theaters and private/corporate events. Now the troupe is set to take on the big screen with "P.O.O.P. the MOVIE".
