Folk Alliance International (FAI) kicked off its 30th Annual Conference tonight with the International Folk Music Awards Show held for the first time at Kansas City's historic Folly Theater.   

FIELD REPORT, the Wisconsin-based quartet founded and fronted by Chris Porterfield, have announced their new album, SUMMERTIME SONGS, to be released on March 23rd on Verve Forecast, part of Verve Label Group.

Grammy Award-winning musician Rickie Lee Jones kicks off the annual WFUV Live at Zankel Hall concert series with an intimate, one-night-only performance on Friday, October 27 at 10:00 p.m. Jones, who is widely applauded for her intricate mix of jazz, rock, and folk, will perform selections from her recently released album The Other Side of Desire, in addition to songs from her legendary musical catalogue.
