Ever wonder what happened to your favorite millennial Broadway child star? They're now old enough to play their "parents"! Come hear these former child actors sing songs from the shows they were in and hear untold stories about what it's like balancing school, homework, and just being a regular kid with regular kid problems. Written and hosted by Laura Heywood (@BroadwayGirlNYC) with musical direction by Nissa Kahle.

A (Funny) Imagination is a One-Act Drama follows Dee as he reunites ten years after graduating high school with Tricia and EmVee to discuss unresolved issues from the past that completely altered their relationship for the rest of their lives. Dee recalls the events that led him to the point of where he now is physically, socially and mentally.

The Premiere of The Heights Players Reading series will present Kevin Ray Johnson's (The Unpredictable Times) newest play A (Funny) Imagination! on Saturday, March 10th at 1:00 pm.

Sing Along, the short film musical with an all-star cast, is beginning a television run this month on ShortsTV, the cable and satellite channel dedicated to short films. The movie centers on an introverted young man who deals with his anxiety by envisioning his life as a musical.

Award-winning New York based writer and performer Tim Realbuto, who will star in the upcoming motion picture YES (based on his stage play of the same name), will bring his popular 'Because I Can' concert series to an end at the Triad Theatre on Friday, February 9th, 2018 at 7:00 PM. He premiered his first 'Because I Can' concert at The Metropolitan Room last April and performed part two earlier this month at The Triad. The Metropolitan Room has been the producer of all three 'Because I Can' shows, but the second incarnation and now the third and final one will be performed at The Triad as The Metropolitan Room is in the middle of moving locations.

Craft Your Truth, an organization that encourages and empowers LGBTQ youth to share their unique stories, is partnering with local NYC nonprofit New Alternatives for a day-long workshop culminating in a fundraising benefit performance. New Alternatives provides a range of services designed to help LGBTQ+ youth succeed in transitioning to stable adult lives and welcomes all youth as they are with no barriers to entry. For this event, Craft Your Truth is excited to be teaming up with Caveat, a Lower East Side venue dedicated to intelligent nightlife.

KEVIN Ray Johnson's coming of age drama The Unpredictable Times will be premiering with Showcase on Main in Elkton Maryland in 2018. The workshop premiere will be directed by S. Lee Lewis - who serves as The Artistic Director of Showcase on Main.
